Event Description

Child Traumatic Stress

Content will focus on the role that adverse childhood experiences can have on development, behavior, and behavioral health and will include an explanation of the continuum of behavioral health and mental health issues matched to appropriate interventions. Longitudinal research that produced the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study and the research of Dr. Bruce Perry will be featured.

All EXISTING direct care staff are required to attend 15 hours of continued education trainings by the end of FY10. This training is designed to complete 12 hours of that requirement.

Coordinated Training Services (CTS) reserves the right to cancel any training for which a minimum of five (5) participants have not pre-registered within 10 days prior to the training.
